Our Waterfall Hike takes you to the breathtaking Benton Falls!

Benton Falls is a popular hiking destination here in the Ocoee region. The Benton Falls Trail is considered an easy to moderate 1.5 mile (each way) hike to the 65 foot cascading waterfall.  Hikers will follow our guide(s) in their own car to the trailhead. Here your guide will provide each hiker with their own bottle of water as you head out on your hike.  Your guide will be backpacking everyone’s catered lunches allowing you a more cumbersome free, pleasant hiking experience. Once you arrive at the falls it’s time to enjoy your picnic lunch because who doesn’t enjoy eating and relaxing at the base of a waterfall?  While there you may also enjoy rock stepping, wading in the water or even allowing the waterfall to shower down on you. Your guide is also happy to capture some pictures so be sure to bring your phones. This experience is for Lodging Guests only.

  • Trip Time Itinerary: 30 minutes to trailhead, 45 minute hike to falls, 45 minute lunch/rest/play at waterfall, 45 minute hike out, 30 minutes back to farm
  • Recommended footwear: Hiking sandals, such as Teva's, are a great option for hiking the trail as well as playing in the water. Tennis or hiking shoes are also acceptable.
  • Menu Options: Your picnic lunch includes your choice of sandwich, chips, water or lemonade.
  • Sandwich options are: Ham, Turkey, Ham & Turkey, Uncrustable
  • Sandwich Condiments: American or Provolone Cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion.  (Mayo, mustard, salt, pepper provided) For Uncrustables please specify Strawberry or Grape.

 

 

**LOOK BEFORE YOU BOOK** YOU MUST BE PHYSICALLY CAPABLE TO PERFORM THIS HIKE WHICH INCLUDES A STEEP STAIRCASE AT THE WATERFALL WHICH YOU MUST HIKE DOWN AND BACK UP.  YOU MUST ALSO BE CAPABLE TO COMPLETE THE HIKE IN THE TIME ALLOTTED.  TIME AT THE FALLS MAY BE CUT SHORT IF THE GUIDE FEELS IT IS NECESSARY TO MAKE IT BACK BY THE SCHEDULED END TIME.  THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $40/HR OR ANY PORTION THEREOF  FOR HIKES EXTENDING BEYOND THE ALLOTTED 3.5 HOURS.    

CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULE POLICY

Reservations without Cancellation Protection are non-refundable; however, guests may request to reschedule by emailing ocoeeriversidefarm@gmail.com at least 72-hours before their scheduled encounter time. REQUESTS MUST BE MADE BY EMAIL ONLY. Optional Cancellation Protection is available to be purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added later.  Guests who purchase Cancellation Protection may cancel BY EMAIL ONLY and receive a 100% refund of the encounter cost when cancelling 72+ hours before their encounter and 50% refund when cancelling at least 24-hours before their encounter. CANCELLATIONS INSIDE 24-HRS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE EVEN WHEN CANCELLATION PROTECTION IS PURCHASED. Cancellation Protection applies only to the original scheduled encounter date and time and does not transfer, renew, or carry forward after rescheduling. Refund and reschedule eligibility are determined by the time the email request is received. Except for animal rides and hiking, encounters operate rain or shine. If Ocoee Riverside Farm cancels an encounter, all guests will receive a 100% refund for the cancelled encounter(s) or may choose to reschedule, subject to availability.

LIABILITY WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED BY, OR ON BEHALF OF, ALL GUESTS LODGING WITH US AND/OR PARTICIPATING IN OUR EVENTS AND EXPERIENCES.
