Throw open the gates and let the fun begin because ‘Homeschool Days’ is coming to Ocoee Riverside Farm!  Each day will be fully packed with lots of hands on animal encounters allowing kids to experience a wide variety of learning opportunities in our fulfilled outdoor classroom!  Each homeschool day will include a full farm tour as well as horse and pony rides.  Kids and parents alike will have opportunities to see animals, touch animals, hold animals and feed animals during this fun and interactive learning experience.  Additionally,  each of the three days will include a unique focus topic which will offer some different experiences from one day to the next related to that days animals.  Choose what interests you most or plan to spend multiple days with us!  This semi-annual event is ideal for K – 8 but is open to all ages.  Please be aware that this is not a drop off.  Adults must include themselves when registering and remain with your children throughout the event.  Take your experience to the next level by staying on the farm this week with a 20% lodging discount for homeschooling families registered for Homeschool Days!

The following 3 add-ons are also available below:

  1. Sloth Encounter: Takes place at 10:30am each day. Limited to just 4 persons a day with a minimum age requirement of 5.  Children under 13 years of age MUST BE ACCOMPANIED by a participating adult. Participants will pet, feed and learn all about the slowest mammal on earth.
  2. Kangaroo Encounter:  Limited to 15 people each day with a minimum age requirement of 5.   Children under 13 years of age MUST BE ACCOMPANIED by a participating adult.  Participants will be invited to hop inside our kangaroo enclosure to pet, feed and learn all about these amazing macropods.
  3. Zoo Food: Additional bags for hand feeding of a variety of animals here on the farm both inside and outside the petting zoo.
