This special encounter is for LODGING GUESTS ONLY as it occurs inside the accommodation you are staying in here on the farm. The private encounter, lasting 45-60 minutes, includes 1-2 sloths depending on group size, and offers guests the opportunity to pet and hold our sloths which are brought into your accommodation. ‘Cuddle in Your Cabin’ is available for group sizes as small as 2, but is an especially great option for groups of 3+ hoping to enjoy a sloth encounter together as it is not offered any other way. This is a ‘by request’ encounter which means that you are submitting a booking request below and will not be charged until after we have confirmed availability. We have strict protocols on the daily time limit that our sloths are on encounter each day and we will need to review existing bookings before we can confirm availability. The price of this encounter reflects that fact that we are removing other sloth encounters from our availability AND offering this encounter after hours. You can expect a response in 24 hours and, if confirmed, will receive a payment link so that you can submit your payment which will be due within 24 hours of booking confirmation.
SPECIAL GUEST REQUIREMENTS: All persons staying in the accommodation must be included in the guest count for this encounter. Additionally, guests will be asked to raise the temperature inside the accommodation to at least 75 degrees in advance of the sloths arrival. For our Barn Loft guests wishing to book this encounter, we will provide a heated encounter space. Children under 10 will be able to pet, but not hold, the sloth.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Reservations without Cancellation Protection are non-refundable; however, guests may request to reschedule by emailing ocoeeriversidefarm@gmail.com at least 72-hours before their scheduled encounter time. REQUESTS MUST BE MADE BY EMAIL ONLY. Optional Cancellation Protection is available to be purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added later. Guests who purchase Cancellation Protection may cancel BY EMAIL ONLY and receive a 100% refund of the encounter cost when cancelling 72+ hours before their encounter and 50% refund when cancelling at least 24-hours before their encounter. CANCELLATIONS INSIDE 24-HRS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE EVEN WHEN CANCELLATION PROTECTION IS PURCHASED. Cancellation Protection applies only to the original scheduled encounter date and time and does not transfer, renew, or carry forward after rescheduling. Refund and reschedule eligibility are determined by the time the email request is received. Except for animal rides and hiking, encounters operate rain or shine. If Ocoee Riverside Farm cancels an encounter, all guests will receive a 100% refund for the cancelled encounter(s) or may choose to reschedule, subject to availability.
Specific to sloths: For the health and well-being of our sloths they are not made or expected to perform in any particular way. They interact with us and our guests on their own terms because THEY want to. For that reason the farm reserves the right to substitute one sloth for another without the need for cancellation or refund.
LIABILITY WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED BY, OR ON BEHALF OF, ALL GUESTS LODGING WITH US AND/OR PARTICIPATING IN OUR EVENTS AND ENCOUNTERS.
