As our Sloth Keeper in training you will spend 3 hours interacting with not 1, not 2, but all 3 of the sloths here at Ocoee Riverside Farm! In this hands-on encounter sloth keeper trainees will be educated on everything slothfull! From learning about the different species of sloths, to their unique anatomical adaptations that allow them to hang endlessly, fall from distances of 100 feet without injury and TONS more interesting facts that make these creatures so amazing! Whats more, your encounter supports The Sloth Conservation Foundation and includes a “Sloth Keeper” t-shirt as well as a beautiful sloth bracelet providing sloth tracking of your own wild sloth in Costa Rica! Due to the unique nature of this experience it is not available for instant booking. Booking this encounter will send us a “request to book”. You will not be charged unless approved at which time you will be notified to proceed with payment.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation requests must be submitted to the farm via email. A 90% refund is available for requests made at least 48 hrs prior to the encounter time. No refunds for cancellations inside of 48 hrs. With the exception of horse, pony & camel rides our encounters run rain or shine. NO RIDES IN RAIN. In the event the farm needs to cancel for any reason guests will be refunded 100%. There are NO REFUNDS on additional items purchased.
Specific to sloths: For the health and well-being of our sloths they are not made or expected to perform in any particular way. They interact with us and our guests on their own terms because THEY want to. For that reason the farm reserves the right to substitute one sloth for another without the need for cancellation or refund.
LIABILITY WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED BY, OR ON BEHALF OF, ALL GUESTS LODGING WITH US AND/OR PARTICIPATING IN OUR EVENTS AND ENCOUNTERS.
