PLEASE NOTE: WHEN BOOKING BELOW YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE HOUSE RULES

We gladly welcome the animal enthusiast to The Barn Loft!  Here you will be the invited guest of 5 beautiful horses.  That’s right, make no mistake, The Barn Loft is located INSIDE our equestrian barn!  While the horses bed down in pine shaving you will be afforded comfortable beds with all linens provided.  The loft area also includes a table and chairs, a sideboard table full of family friendly games and a Keurig Duo with mugs.  The area is screened but be aware that it is an “open air” environment.  Temperature within the barn is controlled by opening and closing the barn doors and airflow within the loft is controlled with the use of 4 fans.  There is a full bathroom, refrigerator and microwave on the ground floor of the barn as well as a gas grill, with side burner, and picnic table on the rear barn patio.  Additionally, our barn guests enjoy the outdoor fire-pit complete with roasting forks and sandwich presses.  We maintain a very clean barn but please recognize that IT IS A BARN.  If anyone has ever told you that you are “high maintenance” then The Barn Loft is probably not for you and we would encourage you to consider one of our other stays offered here on the farm.  Please note from the photos that you will need to be able to climb a 12 ft ladder to access the loft.  Backpacks are recommended but a luggage pulley is provided. This is an absolute MUST DO for horse lovers!

What Our Guests Are Saying:

My 2 little boys(7&2) stayed here and they definitely didn’t want to leave. Super homey and cozy. Absolutely beautiful. My boys were able to feed the animals which was so cool. The barn is so well kept. Highly recommend !!”

Our stay was amazing!!!! From the moment we arrived until we left we were in a magical place. We could tell the owners and their boys take pride and care of their land and animals. My son had the time of his life. He and I made animals friends and were sad to go. We plan to return one day with other family to share this magic place with them. I am so thankful for everything John and his wife and their boys did to make this past weekend a memory to last a lifetime. The barn loft was perfect, we stayed in July and did not miss the AC or not having TV because we spent time with each other and our farm friends.”

Run, don’t walk! Book it.
This was honestly the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. The hosts are gracious, humble and truly want you to have an amazing stay. There so friendly and share facts on how they created the farm, tell you about the animals and check in to ensure everything is going smoothly. It was truly interactive and made me want to know more.  The farm is stunning. The animals are beautiful. The barn loft was so fun to stay in! With games, coffee, snacks and cooking amenities. Everything was provided. Loved cooking outdoors, while we watched the horses play. Hung out with the goats. Cusco the lama loved running next to us. Even rode a camel.  Whether your looking for peace and quiet, or some time in the countryside, this place is it! They love people and want you to feel on vacation.  It’s alongside the peaceful river. Our boy got to enjoy the playground and hangout with donkeys. It is a must stay at kind of place.”

Best trip I have ever had! Mr. John and Mrs. Donna are the sweetest hosts and I can’t wait to go back again! Lots to do around the area. The barn is beautiful and clean and a cozy stay! 10/10 experience!”

My 11 year old Son and I came her for 2 nights on our 10 day road trip through through 4 states. Our entire trip was amazing and filled with mountains and caverns and waterfalls but out of all of it, this place was absolutely the highlight! We LOVE animals and have yet to come in contact with Sweeter, more affections, better cared for animals than those at this Barn. Donna and John were incredibly attentive and such wholesome people. We did the horseback riding, camel riding, and farm tour with John and he is extremely informative, patient, and caring. We even took a video of all of our new animals friends to view when we miss them and show off to everyone. We will definitely be back soon! Best experience EVER!”

Our experience at the barn loft was fantastic. We enjoyed the up close encounters with all the happy animals and John made us feel right at home. It was just the right amount of attention while still feeling like we had space to relax and explore on our own. In addition to the amazing farm experience we highly recommend the waterfall hike nearby and the Ocoee Dam Deli and Diner, both of which were recommended by our wonderful hosts. We’ll definitely be back. Go to their profile or search “Ocoee Riverside Farm” to see their other awesome accommodations there.”

Super cool barn and farm experience. My kids loved it and already planning a return trip for the Fall! Slight noise from the horses below but to be expected and we all slept just fine. Incredible time getting to meet all the animals and help out with some of the feedings. Yes it’s a barn but it’s clean and has everything you need and nothing you don’t.”

~ Alan,  April 2023

This was an experience with our grandson that we will never forget! Our weekend was packed with adventures. He loved the farm tour, feeding the animals, learning to groom and ride the ponies – Tina Turner & Beauty, riding Ed – the camel, fishing, playing on the playground, playing in the play house, loving on Wesson – the Great Pyrenees, chasing down the escapee baby goats – Thing One & Thing Two, sleeping in the barn loft overlooking the horses, and the tubing experience down the Ocoee River which literally lead us back to the farm were just a few of our memorable moments.
We hope to come back soon and will shout our experiences from the tops of Cherokee National Forrest! You all are amazing!!!”
